Poland opens for foreign investors
Wednesday, 29 April 2009 22:45
On 1st of May 2009 the transitional period has ended – European Union investors can finally purchase Polish land and without any additional agreements with the Ministry of Interior and Administration. This does not yet apply to agricultural land, which requires all additional agreements until 1st of May 2016.
Interest in the Polish real estate market is growing. In the current times of economic crisis, when European economy is in decline, Poland remains an island of stability. Poland is the only European country with GDP growth. This surprisingly positive situation attracts more and more investors, mainly from countries where real estate market has been deeply affected by the crisis – such as Ireland and the UK. It is also a highly interesting place for German clients who can look for an affordable home in their neighbourhood on the Polish side of the border. Poland, as mature EU partner is also a far safer investment place than other young EU countries like Romania or Bulgaria, which also try to attract foreign capital. Summarising – this is a perfect time for investing in Polish real estate – if you would like to find out more – do not hesitate to contact our team.

Prices in Poland
Wednesday, 29 April 2009 23:11
In the previous years housing prices were increasing rapidly leaving land prices far behind - at the same time making land a great long term investment opportunity. In some of the most beautiful parts of Poland, like e.g. Karkonosze Mountains in Lower Silesia the price for 1m² of land on average is still as low as £15 to £40. This is also in places like the winter capital of Poland - Szklarska Poręba!
